Abstract

Because of technological development, information propagates faster in incommensurable scales. In a context that aims to inform strikingly and clearly, image becomes specially highlighted. Thus, there has been great impact on privacy, once markedly restricted to personal circles, in such a way that each one becomes responsible for evaluating the effect of decisions on the disclosure of private information in means of communication, especially when such disclosure reaches beyond the individual level. Regarding paternal- filial relationship, it is natural that parents, on a daily basis, decide on which content to display about their children. It is up to Law, given the wide range of existing communication media, as well as the severity of possible consequences of thoughtless acts, to guide parental activity so that the image exposure of children by parents reflects the constitutional duty of care as well as the principle of the best interest.
